Night, this is an absolute masterclass in star-crossed passion. One can practically feel the desperation in that goodbye kiss. Beautifully written tragedy.🖤🖤
This is indeed tragic in a way, but to me, first of all it proves the power of love. All the fences, walls and divisions we build mean so little when it comes to this.

Excellent use of repetition and imagery
Thank you, Gubby-buddy 💛
It deserved to have its own space . 🖤
It did 🖤
Thank you, nina!
@untamedeulogy used the words "star-crossed" which is what came to mind for me as well. Poetry that hits is my favorite thing, and this hits. 🐦⬛
That means a lot, Shadow. Every time I write I to do my best to make my readers feel something.
Thanks for being a proof of that 🖤
All of it, as if I am in their immediacy. Before this old world burning. What gift the way you write❤️
Finding something like this is so rare. And yet world seems to be built upon it.
You're too kind, Marie. Thank you 💛
Killer of the last stanza. The house is still on fire x
I bet it won't stop them from building a new one.
Thank you, MoTy 🖤
Agreed x
Night Cracks, I really like the layers and the subtext - especially between the couple - and how the attraction can overshadow all of it.
It's ironic, isn't it? It makes you wanna scream 'no', but then you discover that maybe it should be like that.
Love is one of those things that can, at times, be almost impossible to understand. It is a true force of nature.
And perhaps our only chance not to destroy ourselves.
Thanks for being here, Martin 🖤
